Many Hindu Canadians desire a wedding which reflects their native heritage, and so did Salena & Tj. They chose the Riviera Maya in Mexico to celebrate their very special one.

They came all the way from Canada and some of their relatives travelled half the globe to be present in this exceptional ceremony.

The handsome groom was wearing a fine scarlet scarf to celebrate the Gath Bandhan ritual, the tying of the Nuptial Knot: The scarves placed around the bride and groom are tied together symbolizing their eternal bond. This signifies their pledge before God to love each other and remain faithful.

Most of their garments and jewelry were given to the couple months before the wedding in an engagement ceremony known as Mangni. This is to bless the couple, who are then given gifts of jewelry and clothing by their new family. The bride’s jewelry was old fashion style with lots of pearls and quartz. Lots of bracelets adorning her arms and one particular piece of jewelry that was to wait to be given to her: her wedding ring.

Salena’s trousseau was sublime, so much work in it and so much attention to detail that is difficult to even describe it.

The glowing bride wore her Sindhoor for the first time. Tj applied a small dot of vermilion, a powdered red lead, to the bride’s forehead and welcomed her as his partner for life. It matched the crimson in her lips.

All relatives and friends wearing magnificent colorful clothes sat down on the floor of an amazing gazebo with sea view witnessing a very romantic and majestic ceremony. The Barcelo Hotel was the perfect venue for a perfect moment.

The Indian culture celebrates marriage as a sacrament (Sanskara), a rite enabling two individuals to start their journey in life together. In a Hindu wedding, the multiplicity of creation becomes possible when spirit (Purush) unites with matter (Prakritti). The Hindu wedding lays emphasis on three essential values: happiness, harmony, and growth.

After all the rituals were followed, the guests and wedded couple began to dance and enjoy that unforgettable night.

The people at the Iberostar Tukan put together a wonderful day for Gintare & Algirdas, the beach club was decorated in blue and white, very elegant and all the details of the day from the decor to the food were exceptional. The guests enjoyed everything the Hotel had to offer, the modern restaurant and bar area, the beautiful seaside ceremony, the wonderful dinner and dancing area and of course, the superb service they received from their highly trained and professional staff.

The Bride was glowing in her well-designed gown and barefooted but decorated feet and her bouquet was out of this world!

They got married facing Cozumel, an island governed by Itchel, the Mayan goddess of fertility who might have thrown her blessing on them.

If Carrie Bradshaw saw the Bride she would only be jealous! That special flower giving a perfect touch to her hair, delicacy, fine trousseau, and a lot of white and gold shining all around, she was simply marvelous!

The newlywed couple had a lot of fun trashing the dress and with the orange background made awesome and cool pictures to keep fantastic memories of this exceptional night.

Getting married in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Mexico is one of the most smart decisions you may make as LeeAnn and Nate did! Their wedding was so special and elegant at one of the most fancy hotels in the zone, Excellence Playa Mujeres located in the paradisiac beaches in Cancun, the perfect place for having amazing moments and photos!

We leave you with their comments about our service:

"My husband and I were beyond satisfied with our wedding pictures! We weren't really sure what to expect with a photographer since we were having a destination wedding and no referrals, obviously, to go from.

We truly felt blessed that our pictures of the best day out lives turned out so well! Niccolo was extremely professional, on time, and captured the most beautiful pictures without "being in the way" - we hardly noticed him in our rooms or during the service.

We have our pictures up in our home and so do both sides of our family. We see them every single day and I still can't get over how gorgeous they are and how he was able to capture the beauty of that day. I HIGHLY recommend Niccolo and wish we lived in the same place so he could take more photos of our family!"

The venue was the Princess and the Bride looked just like one, along with her little princess dressed all in white.

The Riviera Maya was the wedding destination chosen by Sara & Galileo to have their magic event.

Details were very well kept, from the matching fine jewelry to every single wrapped button that the groom had to undo that night.

The couple looked like models for a bridal magazine displaying their beauty and youth all around.

The callas adorning the altar matched the white dress and the blond hair of the fashionable bride.

Bridesmaids and best men all in white were there to support and have a great time!

Love was in the air, we captured such beautiful moments with this beautiful couple!

There is a place where is hard to tell where the ocean finishes and the sky begins, that is Cancun showing off the blue color of its waters; and that is the wedding destination that Rose and Jean chose to get married: paradise!

Glamour was stamped all over the place, not only in the Paradisus Cancun  Hotel, but in the Bride and Groom.

The stunning Bride looked impeccable in her white dress contrasting with her black silky hair. The lavender dresses worn by the bridesmaid gave the atmosphere a serene and calm environment.

Ik, the Mayan god of wind was there to witness Rose & Jean join their souls that sunny afternoon.

It must have been the elegance of the Grand Palladium one of the reasons why Amy and Kieran chose this amazing hotel as the venue for their outstanding event.

Mom and dad were there, along with the rest of the family members and friends ready to celebrate!

The blue ocean was there as chaperone, and the sky reflected into the groom’s eyes.

The icing of the cake was the orange sunset matching the bride’s bouquet.

There were jewelry, bubbles, tears of joy, hats and above all love!

We felt glad this cute couple choose us as their wedding photographer for their big day!

Michele & Mario, a romantic couple that chose Akiin Tulum as their destination wedding, the scenario that led into enjoying a beautiful ceremony, with an amazing sea view.

A wonderful crowd of fun people and an impressive blue sky flooded an exceptional afternoon.

The bride and groom chose a very laidback backdrop to say the magic words “I do”, Tulum in the Riviera Maya, a paradise within paradise.

The sunset began, offering ideal lighting and silhouettes for pictures that would keep unforgettable moments.

The wedding was all they dreamed it would be and we were honored to photograph unforgettable images of their special day.

An amazing wedding that took place in Le Reve Hotel in Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, in which the bride and groom were able to combine elegance, fun and joy.

One of those weddings in which different emotions and smiles outstand.

Its worth mentioning the job of Yazmin de la Mora, because every detail was cover to perfection.

Once in a lifetime event, one off.

Something new: the husband and wife.

Something borrowed:  the Mayan land.

Something blue: the sky and the ocean in its different tones.

Something old: Love

Light, faith, smiles, joy, bliss, dreams… were some of the feelings and emotions that Judit & Alejandro transmited on their wedding day, as if a premonitory list had already pointed them out.

The “something blue” from the wedding tradition reached out not only to the sky and water, but to Alejandro’s tie, the bridesmaid dresses and Judit eyeshadow.

We were amazed by a flock of pelicans that seemed to have chosen the precise moment to overfly the Mayan Blessing adorning it with its natural beauty.

Jesus from the altar as a witness, in a gold and silver cross, blessed this affectionate Alliance.

It was easy to have stunning photos of the bride who looked splendid crowned with White flowers contrasting her brunette hair.

From that day on, not only two people joined, but two families.
